My name is Elias Mabasa. I am a multi-media producer. I have experience in filming, video editing, motion design and graphic designing. I am also experienced in using various editing software which include Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premire Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut among many others. Currently, I am studying towards an Honours Degree in Multi-Media Production with the University of Zimbabwe. I also hold a National Diploma Certificate in Applied Information Technology (Software Engineering) with the University of Zimbabwe. At the moment, I am employed as a chief editor for Mandara SDA Media, a position which I hold since January 2020. As a chief editor, my duties include: Using multi-camera sequencing technique to edit a number of videos that are premiered on Mandara Facebook and YouTube platforms, Using Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects and Final Cut to integrate overlays, motion graphics and suspense background music so as to produce eye-catching promotional videos for our upcoming programs and finally to continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry`s best practices so as to maximize efficiency.
